Making Money In Business By Getting Rid Of The Phrase, I Can't

If you want to be successful faster, easier and have a lot more fun in the process, you have to give up the belief and the phrase, I can't. You have to start believing that you can. Even if you haven't been able to in the past, figure out a way to get it done.
Take the following phrases for example.
I can't make money online
I can't find the capital I need to expand
I can't understand the technology
I can't be a success at marketing
I can't quit my job
I can't change my career
I can't spend any more time
I can't discipline myself enough
I can't go for my dreams
I can't set goals
I can't be successful
I can't....(fill in the blank)
How many times have you used one of those or something similar?
That list is by no means exhaustive. You'll have to look into your own life and see for yourself where the "I can't virus" has infected your mind.
But let me give you some help, because it's a really tricky virus.
It infected you many years ago, probably in childhood. It snuck its way in and settled down deep in your unconscious. Then it began to multiply itself. It began to grow at an alarming rate. Yet there was nothing you could do about it. Why? Because you didn't even know it was there.
It was like a sniper, hidden but extremely dangerous and deadly.
It began to shut down your hopes, your dreams. It began to shut you down.
Then it lay dormant, just waiting for a new positive possibility to come by so it could take it out immediately.
The point is that every time you say, "I can't", it costs you something. It costs you time. It costs you energy. It costs you money. But it has deeper costs that are hidden. It stops you from believing in yourself and trusting yourself and those are far worse costs to consider.
In reality, what you are really saying is, "I don't want to. Or, I am too afraid to. Or, it will be too painful."
I CAN'T is the easy way out. I CAN'T lets you off the hook because it's usually followed by a very good excuse. For example, maybe you've said I can't start a new business because I couldn't possibly take on one more thing.
If that seems valid, consider this. If I offered you a chance to fly to your favorite place in the world and stay at a resort for a week all expenses paid, you wouldn't say, "I can't take on one more thing."
You would do whatever it took to have that vacation because in reality, YOU CAN. You can because you want to. That's the bottom line. Anyone will do anything if he or she really wants to.
Take a look at your life. Look at the results you currently have. Are they what you really want, or has the I CAN'T bug taken over? You'll have to dig deep. You'll have to really search. The virus doesn't want to be found.
Here's your assignment. It's a simple one. Just do 1 thing that you have not done because you "couldn't". It could be a big thing or a small thing. Just do something. When you're done, take note of how you feel. You'll see that you feel better and that doing whatever it was that you couldn't do was really no big deal.
And if you can do that 1 thing, what else could you do if you stop saying, I CAN'T?
Having success in business is no different. There will be things that you'll want to say, "I can't." They'll be things you'll want to avoid because they seem difficult. I say, do them anyway. If you say, "I can't" over and over again, you'll never have the business success you're after. On the other hand, if you remove that phrase from your vocabulary, you'll be much happier and ultimately more successful.

The Impact of Social Media on Small Business

Despite the relative youth of social media, it has quickly become an invaluable resource for businesses. Regardless of the size of a business, from a locally owned boutique to the largest international corporations, social networking sites are changing the way business is done. In fact, the vast majority of companies are choosing to use this type of marketing to improve transparency and visibility and create new relationships with their customers. Without question, social media levels the marketing playing field by allowing all organizations with even the smallest budgets reach out to a large audience of potential clients.
Never is the impact of SEM more clear than through the reach of the social networking service, Facebook. Consider that Facebook was developed by a college student in late 2003 but already has more than 600 million active users today. Unlike any previous media, television, radio, or newspapers, Facebook gives business owners an unprecedented opportunity to reach customers around the world.
But this type of marketing does not only help companies to reach customers, it helps companies to build relationships with customers. Traditional media was a one-way relationship. Advertisements were displayed and taken in to varying degrees, but customers had little opportunity to interact. Today, social platforms gives companies and their customers more meaningful interaction which in turn promotes stronger connections. In fact, this is a highly effective method of expanding a brand beyond the confines of standard advertising. With social media, companies reach an international audience, one that then has the opportunity to interact in more meaningful ways. Customers can easily share their experiences with their friends, taking the notion of "word-of-mouth" to a global level.
Furthermore, social media augments the traditional company-customer relationship by shifting from selling as a focus to connecting as a focus. The context of customer relationships has shifted. Businesses can use Facebook to post about how they can help customers rather than what they have to sell customers. As a result, new clients are more engaged and develop a closer connection to the people and personality of a company.
Perhaps most importantly, Facebook and Twitter makes a company ubiquitous. An email address and customer service phone number do not satisfy today's customers. Communicating through these means is much more restrictive than through social websites. Customers seek more choice in their means of communication, which is why many companies are turning to social media like Twitter and Facebook. Indeed, gone are the days when companies are found in the phone book. The internet has become the leading method of connecting with businesses and now SEM has become an indispensable means of reaching customers. In short, social media not only makes it easier to connect with potential clients but also makes it easier for those clients to connect with your business.

4 Ways to Make Passive Income in 2012

We would all love to be able to make more money. More importantly, we would all like to be able to make passive income which is money we receive no matter what we are doing. With passive income, you can make money even while you are asleep.
Here are some passive income strategies to consider.
1. Selling Information on popular topics
The internet is now the number 1 place to find information on a subject. People turn to the internet whenever they have a question related to cars, making money fast, building wealth over time, real estate, stocks, medical issues, etc. You no longer need to be an author to make money from writing.
Write a book, or helpful article and turn it into an online (e-book) or offline (CD) product. If your information is really helpful people will pay for this information.
Publish this information online and sit back and earn passive income.
2. Create a product (software application)
With this strategy you create a product or application that people might find helpful. An example of this would be the angry birds app that everyone is so excited about. another example might be an add-on app for your internet browser.
This goes beyond just writing an article and you will need some technical skills or access to someone with the technical skills to make a software application for you.
Once this is done you can market the product online or offline.
3. Become a webmaster
Offline businesses realize the power of the internet and what it can do for their business. You can offer to make websites for these offline companies.
Once you have the websites set up, you can earn a passive income by charging a monthly fee to "maintain" the website. This would be something as simple as changing some content, or something as advanced as changing the site design
You would charge a monthly webmaster fee to be available to your clients on as needed basis. In the event that your services are not needed, you would still collect your monthly fee.
4. Sell Memberships
This can be done via affiliate marketing or network marketing. Here you will find a product or service that you really like and think would be helpful to many people. Sell memberships and receive a one time commission in addition to a passive income every time that person renews their membership every month.
